UK Shipping

Who do we use to ship your orders?

We use DPD Next Day Delivery (Mon - Sat) for all parcel orders wherever possible. Where there are exceptions to postcode or available service, we will use either Royal Mail 48Hr or DPD 2 Day service depending on the delivery postcode and/or weight of your order. Please note that whilst every effort will be made by both Jenier and our courier partners to deliver your order within the timescales of services offered, we cannot guarantee delivery.

Order Dispatch

We attempt to dispatch all orders placed Monday - Friday before 2pm for next day delivery. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or any Public or Bank Holiday will be dispatched the next first working day. Following most weekends this is normally the following Monday except where there is a Bank Holiday. We do not dispatch any orders on Public or Bank Holidays as our couriers do not collect on these days.

Should for any reason we foresee a delay in dispatching your order we will contact you and advise of such delay and the reasons around this. If you are not able to wait for your order to be dispatched we will of course refund you in full.


We offer to ship samples up to a Royal Mail Large Letter weight FREE of charge anywhere in the UK. You will see the option for free shipping appear at the checkout if the weight of your order can be sent by Royal Mail Large Letter 48hr Service. If no free option is shown, this means that the items in your cart are over the allowed weight by Royal Mail. You can still choose to use DPD Next Day service should you wish, but there would be a shipping fee as shown at the checkout.

Which Days Do We Deliver?

We're delighted to be able to offer next working day delivery, 6 days a week. Our standard DPD next day delivery is from Monday - Saturday if we receive your order by 2pm. 

Click & Collect From Our Glasgow Headquarters

If you're postcode is within 75 Km of Jenier headquarters in Glasgow, an option will appear at the checkout for 'Free Local pickup'. If you select this option we will notify you by e-mail when your order is ready for collection. Please bring details of your order and id for verification. The address for collection is:

UK Shipping Rates & Free Shipping Threshold

Orders below £35 net value attract a carriage fee of £3.95 (VAT inclusive). If your order is over £35 and being delivered to a UK address, shipping is free. Charges are automatically applied or free shipping offered at the checkout.

UK Daily Cut Off Times for Next Working Day Delivery

Generally speaking if we receive your order before 2pm, we would expect to dispatch that day for next working day delivery. However, if you find that time has run away with you and it's after 2pm, give us a call 0800 048 9930 to let us know you need your order for next day and we will do our best to dispatch that day.

Signature or Safe Place?

We normally send out tracked orders requesting a signature on delivery, however we understand that for some of our customers it's not convenient to have to stay in to sign for an order. If this is the case for you, simply let us know in the notes section of your order or download the DPD app and nominate the 'safe place' you'd like the courier to leave your order. This could be with a neighbour, a shed, porch etc. just let us or DPD know.

Saturday Delivery

We're really pleased to be able to offer Saturday delivery for UK orders placed on a Friday except those postcodes that are a 2 Day service*. 


DPD offer both e-mail and SMS text tracking. If we have these details from you we will enter them into the courier's tracking system so you can receive real time tracking information for your order. We also have our own internal tracking process to make sure we know you're order has been delivered to you. If we spot any delays or any issues with your order we'll be in touch with you as soon as possible to make sure you're aware and assist where needed. On occasions where there are delays beyond our control, we will do our upmost to liaise with DPD or Royal Mail to ensure speedy delivery and will of course keep you updated.

Scottish Highlands & Islands*

As shipping to these areas are generally a 2 day service, depending on the weight of your order we will either use Royal Mail (up to 2Kg) or DPD 2 Day service. Some remote areas may involve a longer delivery service than the 2 day service, but we can still offer free shipping on orders over £35 and the fixed carriage fee of £3.95 if you're order is less than £35 (net value).

Northern Ireland*

We offer 2 Day shipping to Northern Ireland. If your order is below £35 and weighs less than 2Kg (allowing for packaging) we offer Royal Mail 48Hrs service for £3.95. If your order weighs over 2Kg but the value is below £35, we offer a fixed rate 2 Day service with DPD at £11.50. If your order is over £35 we offer free shipping.

Channel Islands*

We offer 2 Day shipping to the Channel Islands. If your order is below £35 and weighs less than 2Kg (allowing for packaging) we offer Royal Mail 48Hrs service for £3.95. If your order weighs over 2Kg but the value is below £35, we offer a fixed rate 2 Day service with DPD at £16.00. If your order is over £35 we offer free shipping.

Cancellation Of Order (After Dispatch/Goods Received)

Of course we want you to be delighted with your order, but if for any reason you wish to return any product you need to let us know within 14 Days of receiving the product that you'd like to cancel your order for this product, but you have a further 14 days to return the product to us once you've told us. The product you send needs to be in it's unopened, original packaging along with proof of purchase. As soon as we receive your returned product we will refund you the value you paid for the product as quickly as possible within 14 days of receiving your returned product. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Return Shipping Costs For Order Cancellations

If you are returning your order because you no longer wish to keep the goods, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the returned goods to us. You will also be responsible for the care and safe transport of the product to us as we can only offer refunds on undamaged, unopened products that are in a re-saleable condition. If returned goods from you are received damaged and not of re-saleable quality we will contact you directly to advise as we may not be able to provide you with a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

International Shipping

We offer a choice of Royal Mail International Tracked Shipping or DHL International Courier Services for orders up to a volumetric 2Kg in weight. For orders over volumetric 2Kg only DHL will be visible as a shipping option.

Duties & Taxes

Please note all shipping fees do not include any duty or taxes you may be liable for at the point of import into your country. Please check with your local authorities before completing your order that you are allowed to import teas and tea wares from the UK. We also recommend you determine what (if any) taxes or duties you may be liable to pay for your order when importing from the UK. Jenier Ltd cannot be held responsible for any additional duties, taxes or local surcharges you may incur. Any orders returned to us because of failure to pay taxes, duties or surcharges requested by country authorities will not be liable for refund.

Cancellation Of Order (Prior To Dispatch)

Should you wish to cancel your order prior to your order being dispatched, please contact us as quickly as possible either by phone: 0800 048 9930 or e-mail: As our dispatch teams work quickly and always try to dispatch all orders received the same day (regardless of time), any request for cancellation of an order once dispatched would need to be returned by you once received as we would not be able to recall the order to us.

Product Returns

We want you to be happy with the products you purchase from us, but understand that sometimes there may be circumstances when you'd like to or need to return them to us. Below are various explanations of how we handle returns in the context of UK Law, but please, do not hesitate to pick up the phone and call us to discuss your situation as we really do care and want your experience buying from Jenier Local to be as hassle free as possible.

Damaged or Defective Products

We strive to maintain high quality production across all our product lines. However, should you receive a product that is either damaged or you believe it to be defective in some way, please let us know as soon as possible but at the latest within 14 days of receipt. Depending on the nature of damage or defect we may ask you to return the items to us. Please do not return any faulty/defective items to us unless we have confirmed for you to do so as we may deem it not cost effective. On the receipt of (or acknowledgment of) damaged or defective goods we will offer to refund you in full for the product's purchased value and any shipping costs you may have incurred. We may offer to ship a replacement product should this be appropriate. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
